Quit Your Way NHS Borders Community Support
Quit Your Way NHS Borders Service provides support in the community from specialist advisors in various locations in the Borders including:
Duns
Earlston
Eyemouth
Galashiels
Jedburgh
Kelso
Peebles
Selkirk
Following an initial individual assessment, patients are invited to attend weekly one-to-one appointments with an experienced stop smoking advisor who has been specially trained in helping smokers to stop successfully.
Appointments can be either face to face, telephone call or video call, and arranged for a time that suits you.
The advisor will;
- Give you advice on how to stop smoking
- Discuss nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) to help with cravings
- Offer behavioural support
- Provide support for a period of up to 12 weeks

Opening times
The Information Line is open Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, to give information about local services, put names on waiting list, give leaflets and take referrals.
An out of hours answering facility is available.
